Brighton Office Block
LEDA Construction delivered the complete groundworks, reinforced concrete, and structural steel package for this urban commercial development project.
Our scope of works included full site excavation, drainage infrastructure, reinforced concrete foundations, ground beams, and large reinforced concrete floor slabs, followed by the installation and coordination of the structural steel frame system.
The project required careful planning and execution due to the restricted city-centre location and surrounding residential buildings. Our team successfully managed excavation works, reinforcement installation, concrete pours, and structural steel integration to deliver a safe and efficient construction programme.
All works were carried out in full compliance with modern construction safety standards, including the installation of temporary edge protection systems and controlled work areas to ensure the highest level of safety for all personnel on site.
This project demonstrates LEDA Construction’s capability to deliver complete civil engineering and structural construction packages, from groundworks and reinforced concrete through to structural steel superstructure.

Lidl Retail Development - (Full Civil Engineering Package)
Project Overview
Leda was appointed to undertake the complete civil engineering, groundworks and reinforced concrete works for a new Lidl retail development in Birmingham. The scope included bulk excavation, reinforced concrete foundations and slabs, drainage networks, service infrastructure, kerbing, external hard standings and full tarmac surfacing of access roads and car parking areas. All external works and finishing were completed to handover stage under tight programme control.
This project highlights our ability to deliver large-scale commercial retail developments, managing ground conditions, structural concrete works and infrastructure packages with professionalism, safety and quality assurance.
